Some artists really take my breath away. Their talent seam to be endless, and it's great to see their evolution, simply by taking a look at their portfolios. That reminds me that for you to become really good at something, it doesn't take only natural talent, but also lots of practice.
And the work of Sheridan Johns, an Australian illustrator, is here to inspire all of us. Her work is simply amazing, and I must say that her lighting notion is simply awesome!
Mike Mitchell is definitely one of my favorite artists out there. He's one of those artists that you should always keep an eye on, because when you least expect, BOOM, there's an awesome new project.
This time he's releasing around 30 new pieces, portraits of famous characters from movies and TV. I always thought that his comic-like art was pretty awesome, but I didn't know he was so good in other styles, like the one below. These are a few pieces of this new project, but you can visit the exposition at Mondo Gallery, in Austin, TX.
Osborne Macharia is a self taught photographer from Kenya. His portraits are simply amazing, and uses some spectacular soft color lighting that bring out the characters in the composition. Check it out!
