Illustrations of an Abandoned Earth

August 06, 2010 from PauloGabriel's blog

Futuristic illustrations of skyscraper cities and flying vehicles are very common, but what we don't get to see very often is what happens if mankind faces extinction. Tokyogenso, the artist behind these, came up with his vision of this future.

These are somewhat peaceful. The lack of human presence puts things on perspective and makes you think: if without humans, nature prevails, we must be doing something wrong. Of course, I'm just thinking a lot over some illustrations (as usual). Anyways, I hope you enjoy these! Cheers. ;)
