Inspiration: Tim Dinter

January 07, 2009 from PauloGabriel's blog

Illustration can be a trick art. Some people might love a particular piece, some might hate it. Tim Dinter is an illustrator that, in my opinion, manages to move in both sides, coming up with pieces that anyone will enjoy.

I really dig Tim's work 'cause it reminds me a lot of those indie movies, where scribbles are used for posters and other things. These hand-drawn style pieces are really enjoyable. I hope you guys like it as much as I do! Oh, and if you guys want to get the latest Abduzeedo news and join in exclusive promotions, follow us on Twitter! Cheers! ;)

Shining Neon Text Effect in Photoshop
Since we released Abduzeedo's new design, we've received quite a few emails asking for a tutorial showing how to reproduce the our logo effect. Actually since the first time we used that effect, on the Sparkling Hot Girl in Photoshop tutorial, a lot of people have asked us how to do that effect. So in this very short tutorial we will show you how to do that in Photoshop. Step 1 Create a new document, use the size you want, it doesn't matter. Then fill the background with a very dark gray, #111111.
