Inspiring Fashion Artworks by Amylee

February 15, 2012 from GisMullr's blog

I really like fashion artworks, and a good fashion artwork, in my humble opinion, is that one that makes you wonder about the scene, model, details, colors and everything in it. A good fashion art is the one that gets your attention by its style, by its vibe. And this is exactly what Amylee does with her pieces, she gets our attention and takes us to a parallel fashion universe.

Amylee's style and color schemes are pretty awesome. She has a delicate line that combined with stylish outlines, vibrant colors and beautiful textures delivers a strong and expressive outcome. Really inspiring! Make sure to check out more about her throughout the article. Enjoy!

Born in the Midi, South of France, and now working in Paris for several years, Amylee is a 100% accomplished painter. Curious about everything, her resume has grown throughout her activities and encounters.

From Design to Fashion, from Fashion to Decoration, and from Decoration to Art, she came through all of this with the same acute view; a unique perception that she likes using in her paintings. She loves telling stories about Woman, composes with different patterns, and inspires herself with Haute Couture and the 70s.

Amylee’s paintings are charged up with a positive energy associated with a touch of an elegant “glamorous-Pop”, so characteristic of her creations. In her collections, she made simplicity and exuberance, Plastic Arts and Fashion, Painting and Collage.

Different worlds are facing each other and that would have seduced Warhol himself for sure! Pop Culture/Baroque, Haute Couture/Comics, Street Art/Decorative Arts : a happy and artistic cocktail where the paint slaps onto the canvas and become an anti-depression remedy.

Bored at home with Photoshop
Well it's been almost 7 months since I posted my last video on here and I have learned a lot of great techniques since then. The "A perfect lie in Adobe Photoshop" was a great start; however, I have learned that the techniques that I had used before may not actually be the proper way. Over the past 7 months I've learned a number of different methods and have experimented countless times. On numerous occasions I had to stop and take a step back and just remember the basics. I learned some pretty cool effects and I think this one is one of my favorites.
