Logo Design: Cancer Awareness Inspiration
- Nov 03, 2011
The Logo Design series is up and running! We're thinking ahead and we want to find new ways to sort these listings. Last week we had post about logos with beards and mustaches... today it's a bit different. It's inspiration for Cancer Awareness!
Just to explain, user Rafael Etessami (@RifRaf91) sent me an email telling me his story and asking for some specific inspiration:
Three years ago I was diagnosed with a rare cancer in my small intestines, which spread to my liver. After one year of chemotherapy, many surgeries, and everlasting support from my friends and family, I am now cured of cancer (in remission).
From my experience, I wanted to create a simple website where people who are fighting cancer come to my website, and gain support from one another, since I believe that the number one medicine against cancer is support and love from family and friends.
I often look at your weekly articles about Logo Design in different areas, which I love, and find extremely inspirational. Now I’m looking to create a logo for my new website to help fellow cancer patients, and I’m in desperate need of inspiration.
Can you help me out here? Perhaps you can even make it your next article for Abduzeedo! I want to create a logo that might demonstrate love, and the Cancer Ribbon symbol.
Seriously, how could I not help Rafael? So, I went looking for some good logos that might inspire him. I've looked for logos with various themes, such as cancer, awareness, ribbons, love, hope and health. Rafael, I hope this will help you. Everyone, enjoy. ;)
