Playing with typography and architecture ideas is something that we have seen for a long time, I remember that I used to have a little artwork with my name with each letter had a special design, mixing architecture, trees and other little characters. When I saw the Sprint letters that Jing Zhang put together I was really inspired and had to feature them here. Sprint’s business-to-business wholesale group has always had several vastly different product offerings for it’s clients.
"Morality & Dicipline" Digital Illustrations
Dont.Look.Down is a really cool illustration created by Coen Pohl. The end result is very reminiscent of the poster for the movie Inception with the added photoshop-montage via a vector style mixing texture and light. The text "Don't Look Back" is made out of the buildings with a different color. The coolest aspect about this illustration is the perspective and lens distortion which we are lucky enough to feature a sneak peek behind thanks to Coen. Coen Pohl is a graphic designer and illustrator from Seoul, South Korea currently based in Amsterdam.
Brett Parson, an American artist, comes up with some super awesome pulp art illustrations. These are amazing, very creative. I just love the "dirty" feel on these, so common in Pulp magazines. Here you can see some of Brett's pieces. For more of it, please visit his portfolio at DeviantART. He'll definitely enjoy it. Also, if you know any more artists doing pulp art, let us know! I hope you like these. Cheers! ;)
Time for more great projects! This time I've checked a super cool idea by illustrator Dan Matutina, from Philippines. He's come up with a simple, yet witty project called Versus/Heart, in which he features famous rivals in pop culture. It goes from comics, to games and all of them are pretty awesome. These are only a handful of Dan's work. For much more of it, please visit his portfolio at Behance! He'll definitely appreciate it! Cheers! ;)
