MWM Graphics: Stylish and Colorful Artworks

June 29, 2010 from GisMullr's blog

Matt W. Moore is the guy behind MWM Graphics, a design and illustration studio based in Portland, Maine. Matt started painting and drawing throughout graffiti and murals and today he works across multiple disciplines, from colorful digital illustrations in his signature “Vectorfunk” style, to freeform watercolor paintings, and massive aerosol murals. His pieces are pretty stylish, the lines, forms and colors create really interesting and eye catching artworks.

At the moment I bumped into Matt's work I decided to show it here for you guys! The way that he uses geometrical forms, lines, illustrations and strong colors is really unique and creates a nice psychedelic feeling to his pieces. I recommend you to check out his website and also his 2009 Year in Review Slideshow, you will see some really nice stuff there! So take your time and check out his work... :)

Beautiful Vector Illustration in Illustrator and Photoshop by Carol Rivello
Hey guys! For this tutorial/making of I created a fun illustration for my sister Stella's blog. In her blog she writes about funny daily situations and I thought that it would be nice to develop an illustration that expressed that somehow. I hope that this step by step help the new designers and illustrators. So, prepare yourself, and continue reading because even though it is a quite long post I hope it might be useful for your illustration projects. Also, feel free to share your thoughts with comments. Step 1 - Brainstorming ftw

Book Suggestion: New Skateboard Graphics
Inspiration is everywhere, I believe everyone knows that but each one of us has some preferences or things that inspire more than others, in my case it's skateboard graphics. That's why the book suggestion of this week is about Skateboard Graphics. It's called New Skateboard Graphics. If you remember we ran a giveaway of this book 3 years ago, but I was checking it out again and had to add to our book suggestion list.
