A New Landmark of Denmark, The Wave in Vejle

The small town of Vejle in Denmark received in 2009 a building that will be a beautiful architectural symbol. The Wave in Vejle is a residential complex, designed by Henning Larsen Architects.

The unique shapes make this building into a sculptural work. The wave form is inspired by the characteristics of the area where it was inserted: the sea, the bridge and the hills. Due to some characteristics of the area the building was not complete with four "waves", but the proximity to the sea and the reflection of the building in the water bring even more beauty to the shape of this set of 140 apartments and don't loose nothing of the awesomeness even if incomplete.

During the day the white waves are reflected in the sea and at night the characteristic profile will look like illuminated multi-coloured mountains. The building has 140 attractive apartments many with two-story house plans, all with a wonderful view.

The Wave is inspired by the characteristics of the area: the fjord, the bridge, the town and the hills. The clear and easily recognisable signature of the building connects the residential area with the sea, the landscape and the town.

Celebrating the released of the new Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications, we today will share an awesome motion design work created for the launch of the previous CS6 suite. I didn't know about this work and that's why I had to share it here with you all. I am really willing to learn motion design and this is a great example and way for me to get motivated to experiment and play with motion design.
