New tutorial: MSNBC header effect

Today I saw that the guys at PSDTUTS.com published another tutorial I wrote, Reader Request: MSNBC Style Effect. It's a really nice effect and very easy to do too. One of the coolest thing in this effect is that you can use it to create lots of different designs. You can create a header for your site like MSNBC did, or you can create some compositions with photos.

And here is another image I created using the same effect but this time I mixed it with a very beautiful girl. I know the girl makes the design much better. Anyway I'm writing a tutorial showing all steps.

Im new to this blog, but I'm allready a fan. I would love to see a tutorial on this. But also, that coffe cup at the bottom looks cool. Is there a tutorial on that?
This is a nice design! I really liked the look of it in the tutorial, sooo i'm making it animated in After Effects. Its looking good.
