It's that time of the week for our collection of UI/UX interactions to boost your UI inspiration. We are focusing on cool animations, layout designs, UX thinking and more. We will mix it all from static, dynamic and even live prototypes, this might be a great article to bookmark!
We're just smitten with the work by lg2 for Taverne Louise in Quebec City. lg2 is Canada's largest independent creative agency specializing in innovation, strategy, packaging, branding and design just to name a few areas of their expertise.
James Gilleard shared a set of beautiful illustrations that he created in 2017. They are all vector illustration and it definitely sets the bar at another level.
Just to keep the celebration for the upcoming movie release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. As a follow-up from my previous article, I decided to put together a fun list of cool gadgets for any Star Wars fans. This has been a lot of fun to put together as a Star Wars fan myself.
I am a fan of the 80s, I believe everybody must know by now but it's always good to remind you all about that. It explains why I will always post anything that reminds me of that decade, especially typography. That is the case of The Sonnyfive typeface created and shared by Sándor Szalay on his Behance profile.
It's been a long time since our last giveaway on Abduzeedo, it's quite exciting because we have one for you today. We are giving away to one lucky winner, the everyday messenger bag by Peak Design. We would love to give a huge shoutout to our friends from Peak Design for being so awesome!
book · Books · book suggestion · gift guide
We hoped that you have been enjoying our gift guides from the past week, let's keep the holiday spirit alive with another guide. But this time, we will stay away from the tech stuff and focus on books! With the holidays knocking at the door, it will be a great moment to enjoy a nice book next to a fireplace?
Elicia Edijanto is an artist from Jakarta, Indonesia with some incredible work shared on her Behance profile. I love simple, black and white illustration and what Elicia's done here with drawings is exactly what I love. The subject and style of composition makes you think or imagining yourself in that situation.
swatches · pantone · color palette · apps
We're happy to share the news of a colorful new app launch today on Abduzeedo called Swatches, a color picker for the real world. Have you ever tried to start a painting project and gotten stuck at that critical moment where you actually have to commit to a paint color? Picking paint colors is hard.
web design · UI/UX · redesign · Concepts
You guys are fully aware of how I feel about redesigns right? But with the end of the year coming soon, I decided to take a stab at a new perspective. Knowingly that most designers who are working on redesign concepts should know (or know) there are SO MANY details we need to take in consideration. It's mostly not about the UI.
We are sharing the work of Kateryna Zuieva who is from AKZ Architectura based in Ukraine. We are showcasing her architecture & interior design project for Blushhh! Secret Shop located in Kiev. I simply love the whole theme going on into this shop with first of all the neon lights and the minimum use of two colours for the whole store colour palette.
There's something about brand identity projects that have a dark theme. I know that it might be personal preference but black business cards or stationary definitely adds an elegant/upscale look. The Loupedeck work done by BOND Creative Agency is a great example of that.
Since our weekly curated UI/UX interactions series are going well, we decided to give it a try with illustrations. Instead of focusing on one specific medium for illustrations like a print design for example. We will surf and look for great pieces across more platforms from books, print, web, applications and more.
It's the weekly moment for our collection of UI/UX interactions to boost your UI inspiration. We will focus on cool animations, layout designs, UX thinking and more. We will mix it all from static, dynamic and even live prototypes, this might be a great article to bookmark!
Currently living in the North side of America, the month of December generally comes with what we truly love and also hate the same time. Snow! Again, there is still a beauty in watching a snowfall in the city and even outside of all its glory.
I am a great fan of Tesla and also of Elon Musk, the care of his level of thinking for the user experience and vision simply changed the game of the entire car industry.
This project has been dated from 2016 but it's never too late to feature awesome challenges. We are following the work of Cairo-based typographer Ehab Elhamzawy on his Inktober Challenge. He had to challenge himself and create 31 different versions of the word "INKTOBER" in expressive kufic in results of the everyday feeling. It's quite impressive and I am sure it wasn't an easy task.
The most wonderful time of year is upon us and that also means it's time for gift guides to lend a little guidance through the holiday hustle. Of course, it's no different here on Abduzeedo and this year we're taking a bit of a new spin. Each one of our writers will share their own personal picks so you can get a well-rounded selection of our most coveted gifts for you and yours. I'll kick thin
Hello December! Not a lot of days left on the calendar before the end of the year, let's go for that last stretch! Working on a brand, the user experience is everything. Not only it matters to the interactions of your site or app but it also matters on how your customers will react to your logo, product, and packaging.
It's been a little while since our last WPW; following up our comeback with the Wallpaper of the Week series, it’s crazy to imagine there’s more than 350+ wallpapers available to download for your different screen resolutions.
logo · logos · logo design
It's been quite a little while since our last logo design inspiration, well here it is for you guys. This collection has been made and designed by a Lyon-based designer named: Romain Billaud. I liked the fact that this series goes in different directions and that's what makes it even more, interesting and inspiring.
This is now a thing! We are starting a weekly UI/UX interactions collection for your UI inspiration. We will focus on cool animations, layout designs, UX thinking and more. We will mix it all from static, dynamic and even live prototypes, this might be a great article to bookmark! For this week, I noticed how designers love using the iPhone X mockup, it's quite nice actually.
It's finally the end of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday craze, aren't you glad that is over?! WE got hammered in our inboxes from the pre-sale, actual sale, extended and never-ending sales. After all of this, did you buy anything? Was it worth it? This is exactly the intention behind this illustration series by Tough Slate Design, what you think?
Let's explore the Monument Valley area in Arizona through the camera of photographer Alessandro Guida. If you are a movie fan, you might have recognized this famous location from movies like Forrest Gump and even Back to the Future Part 3. Going through Alessandro's beautiful series, it definitely gives you a Western Cowboy atmosphere.
