Wild Animal Mugs
"No actual tiny animals were harmed in the making of our wild animal mugs. But some fine ceramic stoneware did make the ultimate sacrifice." (at Holy Cool)
Dry highlighter pencils with natural wood finish. Great eco-friendly alternative to the standard highlighters, the highlighter pencil does not use any ink and is biodegradable. It does not bleed through pages, and will most likely last longer than the regular highlighter. (at Holy Cool)
Designers Ismail Özalbayrak and Bastian Diephaus of Hamburg, Germany-based Studio Unieke designed this wall-mounted desk called S01. Perfect for small spaces, the desk folds up like a secretary to hide your unsightly work when company is over. It also features vents for cable organization and storage of hard drives and accessories. (at Design Milk)
XStylus Touch for iPad
The XStylus is an ergonomic capacitive iPad stylus that transforms into a 14 mm wide grip touch pen with a 180 rotation of its pen core. The XStylus Touch comes with a crystal clear magnetic holder that attaches to the charging port of the iPad 1 and 2. It is a premium iPad touch pen and it is a patented solution.
Elton, the creator, says:
"My goal is to create a conductive stylus that replicates the experience of using an expensive fountain pen, and at the same time seamlessly bond with the iPad for enhanced portability. I am proud to say that the XStylus Touch reached my goal with more."Fund it at Indie GoGo.
Angry Birds speakers
Okay, we admit it, we want one of these Angry Birds speaker docks from Gear4 seen on the floor of IFA here in Berlin. They're available in both iPod dock varieties (pigs) and as plug-and-play speakers (angry, angry birds). Both will begin shipping in the next few weeks in Europe and the US. The non-dock version should sell for around €69. (at Engadget)
Wood Laptop Valise
By Thessaloniki-based industrial designers Athanasios Babalis and Christina Skouloudi, to be unveiled at the upcoming London Design Week 2011. Houses a laptop, power supply and mouse in its felt-lined interior. It comes in one size that accommodates notebooks up to 17”, with an innovative hinged opening: "The stainless steel door can be secured with a lock or a thumb screw." (at Like Cool)
