Camangi WebStation

The Perfect Office Gadgets

The Camangi WebStation has been floating around for a few months now in little more than proof of concept form. Now, it's on the cusp of being a real product, released next month for $400. The system runs Android 1.5 through its 7-Inch (800×480) glass touchscreen display, plus you get Wi-Fi (b/g), GPS , microSD reader, 2MP camera, .3MP webcam and a USB port that can always add 3G (though, the whole idea becomes sort of silly at that point). While Dell has made tablets for years, their quietly announced Studio 17 Touch is their first multitouch laptop, and it's one big machine. With a 17.3-inch (1600x900) display, the 7lb system starts with a 2.1GHz Dual Core T4300, DVD burner, 320GB HDD, 4GB RAM, 512MB Radeon 4570 and a footprint that can support a slew of ports—two USBs, one USB/eSATA, HDMI, Display Port, VGA, and Firewire. Livescribe Pulse Smartpen

The Perfect Office Gadgets

The Livescribe Pulse Digital Smartpen records your notes two ways: it creates digital copies of everything you write by hand while recording audio at the same time. It also goes one step further and links the two together, so you can quickly access audio by tapping parts of your notes. All of this is uploaded to your computer where the Livescribe software archives and makes your notes fully searchable. In addition, it offers features like a calculator, [demo] translator, and a paper piano that plays a mini piano you draw on paper. (via Gizmodo)
