Safely navigate in your car without taking your eyes off the road using the Garmin Head-Up Display. This portable projector beams navigation information from your bluetooth-equipped smartphone onto a reflective film on your windshield, allowing you to see turn-by-turn directions, time of arrival, distance to the next turn, your speed, the speed limit, traffic information, and more. Just wirelessly pair it with your phone, put your destination into one of the compatible apps, and go. Availability pending approval by the FCC. (at Uncrate)
Bose Soundlink Mini
If you're tired of listening to music on the go from your smartphone's inadequate speakers, check out the Bose SoundLink Mini. This palm-sized speaker is small enough to fit easily into a bag (only about two by two by seven inches), but packs the kind of sound you'd expect from Bose. It connects wirelessly to any bluetooth-capable device — smartphone, tablet, laptop — with a wireless range up to 30 feet and seven hours of battery life. Comes with an auxiliary input, micro-USB port, charging cradle, and available soft covers in several colors. (at Uncrate)
Nokia Lumia 1020
Nokia Lumia 1020 is a windows phone camera with a 41 megapixel camera. That's right: 41, megapixel, camera. The sensor is matched with Carl Zeiss optics, image stabilization, and a 4.5" AMOLED screen, 32GB of storage, and wireless charging capability. (at Like Cool)
Lego master builder Carl Merriman has created a fully functional Lego microscope. The creator explains a little more about his creation: “While trying to find a use for the pod itself, I realized that it was very close to a deep petri dish. I used a planetary gear system to allow both coarse and fine adjustment of the objective “lens”. A little more tinkering and I connected the focus to a magnifying glass and fiber optic light in the eyepiece, so adjusting the focus knobs would actually bring the writing on a LEGO stud in and out of focus.” (at Geeky Gadgets)
