I really enjoy to get surprised by an artist. Whether it's by an incredibly realistic render or an total psychedelic illustration, I just love to find something totally new to me. The work of Romanian artist Matei Apostolescu is like that: surprisingly good.

Taking a good look at these I wonder if Matei took acid to make them. They are so colorful and almost nonsense in a certain way, but at the same time you just know what's going on in each and everyone of these. I loved it. How do you like it?
