Sound Design: 140 dB and c60 Redux

Gustavo Guiotto Sun, 11/20/2011 - 16:08

This week I would like to show you two very interesting videos about interaction between sound and physical bodies and a creative music player that brings physicality back to the experience of listening to music.

"140 db"

"140 dB" is experimental film about interaction between sound and physical bodies. The main idea is to show how sound can change objects form and structure including human mental state.

c60 Redux

The c60 music player from IDEO’s Boston office. The team brought to life a concept from Martin Bone and Kara Johnson’s book, I Miss My Pencil, that brings physicality back to the experience of listening to music.
