Stylish Illustrations by Raúl Treviño

June 14, 2011 from PauloGabriel's blog

What happens when an illustrator gets inspired by punk subculture and by watching Mad Max, Gremlins and The Muppet Show? Awesome work is created! That's exactly the case for Spanish illustrator Raúl Treviño.

He came up with his own webcomic called Tinkers of the Wasteland. His trace is definitely stylish and badass. I like it! How about you, people? It kinda reminds me of Gorillaz. Anyways, for more of his work, you may check out his portfolio at DeviantART. I hope you enjoy these! Cheers. ;)

Easy Hulk Logo on Illustrator and Photoshop
Being a great fan of comic books, I always loved the visual identities used for some famous characters. Most super-heroes logos are like a incorporation of many aspects of the characters and their superpowers. I always liked Hulk logo as everytime I look at it I always remember his famous quote "Hulk Smash".

Wallpaper of the Week #70 - Dizzy Pattern
The wallpaper of this week I designed inspired by a skateboard deck design from the Element. It's a vector pattern that creates a really nice optical illusion. I, also, prepared 2 versions a dark one for those like me who like dark wallpapers and the original version that is more bright, but with a nice retro feel. Check out the tutorial: Rad Pattern in Illustrator that Makes you Dizzy .
