In this tutorial I will show you how to create a really cool effect using some watercolor brushes mixed with photos. The image we will create is inspired by the works of Bruno Fujii, Margot Mace, Raphaël of My Dead Pony, and Stina Person.

The wallpaper of this week is an image I created for a tutorial for Digital Arts Magazine. The idea of this image was to play with patterns and displace, so the design combines a 3D cubes pattern with an image of a girl totally deconstructed using the perspective of the cubes.
The tutorial will be available soon, but stay tuned because I will post the PSD file so you guys can take a look at how I did it.
The book suggestion of this week is about branding and it's a recommendation from one of our favorite graphic designers out there, Roger Oddone. The book is called Designing Brand Identity: An Essential Guide for the Whole Branding Team and it covers everything you need to know about branding, from its definition to how come up with the most efficient strategy.
