CGI Loft by 4eFergovi

CGI Loft by 4eFergovi

One of my dreams is to live in a loft, I've always had this fascination about the idea of a super open place. 4eFergovi created a virtual loft all in CGI and made me think about moving once again. The level of details and the objects in this composition is incredible, sometimes it's hard to think it's not real. For more information about 4eFergovi work, visit http://www.4efergovi.com

The Outstanding Work of Maciej Kuciara

I was blown away by the work of this artist. Maciej Kuciara is a Polish concept designer doing pieces for the film and video games industries. This guy is very talented! Maciej has done concept arts for major games like The Last of Us and Halo 4. He came up with some fantastic pieces that go from computer graphics (cgi) to illustrations, and he's a master of state-of-the-art quick paints. Here I've selected some of his pieces... but for more of it, please check out his DeviantART portfolio! I hope you enjoy these! Cheers. ;)

Desktopography 2013 by Craig Minchington

Desktopography 2013 by Craig Minchington

Designers and developers spend about 90% of their waking life in front of a computer so the most appealing genre for a wallpaper would be one that has beautiful design mixed with the all important aspect of outdoors. This is my Desktopography piece for the 2013 exhibition and is called ‘Extrasolar' which you download here. This was a collaboration with Mike Harrison a.k.a. Destill. The concept is based around an extrasolar planet, which is out of the solar system, yet desktopography has still found it’s way there in the form of a part buried logo. It was an honour to be asked by Pete to get involved this year and great to work with Mike on the piece. Go take a look at the rest of the amazing exhibition over at http://www.desktopography.net/

TV Show Posters by Adam Spizak

TV Show Posters by Adam Spizak Exclusive on Funkrush + Giveaway

The project started few months ago as fan art and slowley grow bigger and bigger to finally end up as series. First round of five of my fav tv shows and also - first round of prints! I've tried to approach the project as both fan and also what i would think was important from the show's perspetive - the essence. The Essence for me was closely related to music in these shows, a connection become the core of each idea. For more from Adam Spizak visit spizak.com, Behance, Twitter. Breaking Bad - Walter White Walter was my first choice as well as Breaking Bad being my No.1 show. Not many character go such a big way from where they started. Alexander's song: Truth usted in Ep1 of the 4th season is such a great score that works amazingly with the show and with Walter's journey. The Walking Dead - Rick Grimes You gotta love how dark Rick got in season 4, just to see him redeem himself by the end of it. Great character in what is one of the best shows on tv contradicting what people think when they think of zombies. Kari Meredyth Kimmel - Black fit great into The Road feel of the show. Mad Men - Don Draper Don is such a deep and complex character that i know people who watch this show just for him and it's hard to argue about that. I loved him from the first episodes when he drives away with the birthday cake. The beatniks scene with Don McLean - Waters of Babylon was what made the tone of the show for me and him as main character: How do you sleep at night? On a bed made of money. Californication - Hank Moody We just love to see Hank in trouble, but deep down we always hope we will fine and finally get back with Karen. The show was at its best around season 2-4. The natural selection for the track was The Rolling Stones - You can't always get what as it's constant backdrop to what i think is the essence of this show - man being lost. Dexter - Dexter Morgan Dexter came such a long way from his dark beginning to just darker place which i guess is hard for a serial killer. ;) Bu t we like Dexter becuase he tries hard to be best version of himself, sometimes dark sometimes comic. Daniel Licht - Hide Your Tears give a great score to make you care. The Prints We have all 5 prints for sale exclusive on Funkrush. Funkrush was established in 2007 by Pete Harrison (aeiko) as a clothing company that makes you smile! We want to make you feel like a million bucks.. Fantastic Landscape Illustrations by Sebastian Wagner

Fantastic Landscape Illustrations by Sebastian Wagner

Landscape and environment illustrations have been by far my favorite subject when it comes to digital art or even traditional art. I simply love how digital artists are able to come up with illustrations with sometimes surreal, other times futuristic landscapes that are so creative and are able to make us imagine how it would be if one of those were real. I know, this might not make sense, but that's exactly how I feel when I look at the illustrations that Sebastian Wagner created and we're featuring on this post. Sebastian Wagner is a designer, illustrator and digital artist from Germany. Inspiring Work of João Oliveira

Inspiring Work of João Oliveira

Our friend João Oliveira has recently updated his website with some outstanding new work. From Art Direction to digital images, João shows how versatile he is, no matter the client. From Coca-Cola to Depthcore his work is always inspiring and deserves to be featured here on Abduzeedo. Coca-Cola Teamed up with Nuno Jerónimo and Tiago Canas Mendes from the “O Escritório” agency I’ve been responsible for the art direction and identity design of this campaign held by Coca-Cola Portugal and the Portuguese soccer team Benfica — Camarata Coca-Cola (Coca-Cola Dormitory). The idea behind this “feel-good” campaign was to turn the stadium luxury corporate box into a dormitory for fans. Boosters could apply at Coke website and win the chance to spend 24 hours in the dorm, spending the night in there and also watching a soccer match with the privileged view the location offers. Impeccable Romanticist Art Reconstruction in 3D by Platige Image

Impeccable Romanticist Art Reconstruction in 3D by Platige Image

Digital art allows us to experiment with all sorts of compositions. We have seen quite a lot of styles from surreal to sci-fi/light effects. There are some ideas, however, that are truly amazing. One in particular that has inspired us most is the Jan Matejko Battle of Grunwald - an impeccable example of how to reconstruct a painting from the Romantic era in 3D. Today's post shines a spotlight on this incredible project done by Platige Image. Jan Matejko Battle of Grunwald in 3D is a reconstruction of a painting done entirely in 3D. In order to do that the Platige image team created 67 unique characters, each rendered as three-dimensional models and put together to form a clear spatial composition. Original painting The Battle of Grunwald is a painting by Jan Matejko depicting the Battle of Grunwald and the victory of the allied Crown of the Kingdom of Poland and Grand Duchy of Lithuania over the Teutonic Order in 1410. The canvas dates to 1878 and is one of the most heroic representations of the history of Poland.[1] It is displayed in the National Museum in Warsaw. Video Jan Matejko's "Battle of Grunwald" 3D (fragment) from Platige Image on Vimeo. Depth and perspective appear "within arm’s reach", inviting the viewer into the canvas to experience it from a new perspective. Process
