We’ve featured a lot of concepts on Abduzeedo, some of them are plain redesign and others are intuitively well-thought-out ideas. For example, let’s take a closer look at the work of Jay Lee who is a UI designer currently based in Seoul, Korea. He took a lovely approach at introducing a concept on Facebook where you’ll be able to send gifts to your friends or families. Everything will be accessible through mobile coupons or entering shipping information for deliveries. I can’t help to think and enjoy how his user flow really works and that is a great idea and it might work pretty well on Facebook. What do you think? Would you like to send gifts through Facebook Messenger? It's just my personal concept design project. Facebook Gift can send your heart to gift immediately when like a birthday or anniversaries of your friends. It can be accessed from Facebook Messenger app and Facebook app. Also it is recommend to the suitable gift as taste of friends. Demo More information via Behance.
This week I saw an article about a new Facebook Concept and how people, mainly those related to the web field, would love to see a new look and feel for the Social Network. Then I decided to feature some other Facebook redesign concepts I have seen out there. Check that out and share with us your thoughts! ROF TENTIK Facebook’s design has been widely discussed among designers and users, and I’ve seen plenty of criticism: “Why is the design of Facebook’s desktop site so bad?”, “Facebook has a deeper problem than just Vine/Twitter”, “Do anyone else find Facebook to have an ugly design?”. Having reviewed some of the critiques, I decided to try giving it a facelift. What started as a fun side project eventually lead to the Facebook Flat Chrome extension. PONTUS WELLGRAF More and more websites are taking advantage of the increasing popularity and development of higher resolution and full screen layouts to show it's content with full effect. I believe that it's about time for Facebook to step up the game by going full screen and replacing all the empty spaces with intuitively and signficant content. FRED NERBY The concept reached 20 Milion online views within the first week of launch with an estimated global press coverag of 50 Milion readers world wide. JAMES BERGEN PLUMMER I'm loving Google's material design guidelines and thought I'd try out a refresh of everyone's favorite social network..

Fred Nerby a designer from Melbourn, Australia crated a conceptional and systematic design approach encouraging user behaviour and a greater control of data within a responsive grid. Take a look and let us know what you think. For more from Fred Nerby visit http://nerby.com/ & behance.net/nerby. The Concept A conceptional and systematic design approach encouraging user behaviour and a greater control of data within a responsive grid. The overall concept was created with a systematic design approach encouraging behaviour and a greater control of user data. Facebook is a natural part of peoples lives today and it's well known that a part of the platform's psychological success is caused by targeted and personalised information. This concept draws upon that theory by giving more control back to the user of what they want and don't want to see, creating a greater and more personal environment when interacting with the UI. I approached the platform from a user perspective and focused on targeted & personalised data while maintaining a visually appealing UI. Facebook has done a good job with this for a long time but we're still not seeing the full extent of what's possible within this platform. I believe the future of digital production, design & development in general lies within personalised or targeted information. Every day we're bombarded with advertising and other media who's desperately trying to get our attention with more traditional (narrative) campaign strategies. I believe in focusing on the platform itself and adding value that's personal and actually useful for the end user. What are your thoughts on this concept? Share your opinion about this concept, do you think this would work or be a failure?
The end of the year is getting closer, and I wanted to share another beautiful office to inspire you guys in this new year. I've already shown the Twitter HQ, Google HQ, Parliament Design HQ and so on, and today is time for Facebook, right the Facebook Headquarters. You will get inspired with a lot of pictures and 3 great video tours! The project was designed by studio o+a, they made a interview with almost all the employees to know how they wanted their offices, and how they expected to work and being productive but still having fun at the same time. It's something hard to do, but I can say they reached the target! The place is simply amazing and I'm sure anyone of you would like to work there. Formely a lab facility for Agilent Technologies, a manufacturer of high-tech measurement devices, the restored complex now becomes a lab of different sort for measuring the intangibles of creativity and social interaction. Faceboom wanted its new headquarters to reflec its values: freedom of expression, individuality and creativity. Facebook is based on Palo Alto, CA. The space is a collection of buildings, each one with its own identity and reflects the wishes of its employees! The greatest thing is the fact of encouraging the guys to draw and write on the walls, and move furnitures the way they like. There are also some other things you may want to check out, so make sure to visite officesnapshots.com to get to know everything about the office. Video Tours
