Astonishing Hotel above the Santorini Volcano, Greece

Who looks quickly think this hotel is only one more of those luxurious hotels around the world and with a beautiful view. But he is much more than that, perhaps because it is located above the famous caldera of Santorini Volcano, at Greece. That's right, a hotel over a volcano! Project by Greek architecture offices DiverCity Architects with Mplusm Architects, the Santorini Grace Hotel is an example of luxury, comfort, very functional and above all maintain basic features of Greek architecture. As the architects say "The Hotel Provider Interpretation of the contemporary vernacular architecture: economy of space, radical simplicity, and organic forms." Each photo shows the incredible beauty of this place and despite being located near a volcano can notice the peace that he conveys. The feature echoes a local architectural technique, more commonly used for retaining walls, in which minimal amounts of mortar are used, leaving gaps between the stonework.
