Darling Ceramic Duo: Kat Hutter and Roger Lee

Darling Ceramic Duo: Kat Hutter and Roger Lee

We're so delighted to bring you the work of the uniquely talented Kat Hutter and Roger Lee of Kat and Roger, an uber cool couple giving ceramics a breathtaking new life. Kat and Roger met over a decade ago as art students and have been sharing their talents with the world by way of teaching art and design across the country. They finally set up shop about 5 years ago in a 1,000-square-foot studio in the North Los Angeles neighborhood of Glassell Park and we're so happy to see their beautiful work getting the exposure it so well deserves. Lee hand throws each piece on his self-made, 20-year-old wheel while Hutter then hand-paints EACH AND EVERY SINGLE PIECE resulting in graphic works of art you'll want to make your own. Check just a mere sampling of the coveted collection below and be sure to visit Kat and Roger's site here for more inspiration.

Astounding Painted Dolls by Noel Cruz

Astounding Painted Dolls by Noel Cruz

Back in 2008 we featured for the first time the fantastic work of Noel Cruz. He's a super talented artist who paints absolutely gorgeous dolls in lifelike visuals. The best part of it is that most of his work is actually repainting official dolls that look dramatically less worked than his finished product. Hot Toys should most definitely hire Noel... he's way too good! Here you can see a brief selection of his repaint jobs. These are pretty amazing, but only a handful. For much more of these, please visit his portfolio at DeviantART! I hope you enjoy these as much as I did! Cheers. ;) Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter Big Bang Theory's Sheldon Cooper Helena Bonham Carter as Fairy Godmother Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort Custom repainted Hot Toys Thriller figure Cassandra Peterson as Elvira Hot Toys Doll Repaint Angelina Jolie as Maleficent Custom repaint of Hot Toys Sucker Punch Babydoll Hunger Games Katniss Everdeen doll repaint Cate Blanchett as Lady Tremaine doll repaint post

Awesome Painted Aircrafts Exhibition

Some art exhibitions are awesome, others are not. But you can't go wrong when your exhibition happens in a aircraft cemetery, and you got awesome aircrafts hand painted. This is The Boneyeard Project: Return trip. In the beginning of 2012 this great exhibition took place in Arizona and great artists painted these retired airplanes. I wish I could have visited it. These are only a few examples of the pieces exposed there. For more, please visit the Eric Firestone gallery. Enjoy! Cheers. ;)

Unbelievable Hand Painting Ads by Guido Daniele

The Italian artist Guido Daniele developed one of the most impressive ways to express his art, using human hands and turning them into something else with a touch of paint. When skill meets creativity, we get an unbelievable result. In this case, the result in your hands. Check it out! I am sure you seem some of his hand painting before, it's been all over the web and that's provably the reason why Guido expended his work from being only personal artwork to big ad campaigns.
