I have been playing a lot with the Displace filter in Photoshop and I still get impressed with how powerful it is. Even though I have written some tutorials using it, I decided to try to recreate a different effect that I saw in one of the images submitted for the Daily Inspiration. It was a brick wall deformed like it was made of cloth.
The wallpaper of this week is an image created by David Mascha, a designer and digital artist from Vienna, Austria. David work as freelancer primarily in the fields of art, illustration, fashin, interior design and advertising for clients such as IBM, Hennessy, K2 Snowboards and The New York Times.

The book suggestion of the week is a must have for those willing to design nice web sites and pretty much anything. It is called Ordering Disorder: Grid Principles for Web Design (Voices That Matter) and as the name says it is all about grid systems or the principles behind it.
