A trend that is becoming more and more popular in Photography recently is a vintage/film/retro style. You can see examples in Urban Outfitters, Nylon Mag, Anthropologie, etc. One of the major elements in this style is the light leak. Some of you may remember the post a few months back about Light Leaks in Photography.
The wallpaper of this week is an image created by Jean Dettenborn, a designer and student of advertising from Brazil. The image is a joke about the Macbook logo and how it works.

The book of this week is not a design book per se but it's an incredible book. I have just finished it and I got so much valuable information that can be applied in my day to day job as designer. The book is called Why We Buy: The Science of Shopping--Updated and Revised for the Internet, the Global Consumer, and Beyond by Paco Underhill.
