The Traveling Sketchbooks
April 16, 2009
The design blog Ideafixa, along with Caderno Listrado, had the awesome idea to promote two traveling sketchbooks. What is it? A sketchbook is sent to a famous designer, and he or she's gotta add something to its blank pages.
After doing that, the designer will choose one name from a list in the index page and will send the sketchbook to that person the chose. That way, the sketchbooks keep traveling all over the country until the last designer adds something. After that, they promote an exposition, what is really cool. It happened during February and March here in Brazil. Some of the sketches you may check now! It's really awesome. Cheers! ;)

Great Great Idea. Showing some sweet Illustrations.
Pretty sweet.
I'm currently doing the same thing with friends from across the country and in America. Collaborative sketchbooks rock.
Ha, I did one of these in high school. Ours of course was a graffiti black book. The only kinda of black books worth traveling.
We took it to Sacramento, Frisco, Oakland, Longbeach, Venice Beach, San Daygo, and Tijuana. Yeee
Good times good times.
