Last week we posted a really cool article called Back to the 80's with some beautiful illustrations inspired by the 80's. We love the 80's especially that look and feel of the old VHS movies that we used to watch so many times. Because of that we have a super cool Photoshop tutorial showing you how to create a VHS image style.
Step 1
Open up Photoshop and create a new Document at your desired size in RGB-Color. Fill the Background of the image with a very dark grey (#141414 in my example).
The wallpaper of this week is a very cool image created by Leif Incognito, a very young graphic artist from Germany also known as Iseedeadpixels or K-OZ. Despite the young age, Leif has some really nice works mixing a bit of retro style and geometric shapes.
I'm Leif, 17 years old, from Germany. In the Internet you maybe know me as iseedeadpixels or K-OZ. I still visit school but sometimes i do smaller Jobs for Companys or Photographers. If you have any Questions visit my dA (http://iseedeadpixels.deviantart.com) or e-mail me (don.k-oz@hotmail.de).
The book suggestion of this week is all about illustration and it's one of the books we check out when looking for inspiration. The book is called The Sourcebook of Contemporary Illustration. We highly recommend that you check it out.
