Last year for my birthday, a friend of mine got me "Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends" by Coldplay. For the past year, this album has been playing non-stop in my car on every morning drive to school and then every drive back home. Track 9, Strawberry Swing, went on repeat at least 3 times. Now finally, a year later, on July 20th they make a video for this wonderful song!
If this doesn't get your creative juices flowing and inspire you to create, nothing will. Without further ado, here's Coldplay's new video for Strawberry Swing.

Wow! The video is just great! But I remember having seen already a similar technique in an other video, but not so nicely done.
Strawberry Swing was a quick fave of mine when first listening to CD, upon release. The video is awesome, and just adds even further to the magical appeal of this song. Great idea and superbly excecuted. The video is up there with such greats as Peter Gabriel video.
I find it ironic timing that another fave band of mine, a little group by the name of U2 also went with the animation approach on their new single too: the designer deadline anthem --- "I'LL GO CRAZY IF I DON'T GO CRAZY TONIGHT"

am i the only one bothered by the really intense cast shadows? -otherwise this is pretty cool.
