Web Design Inspiration: Jason Santa Maria

October 10, 2008 from abduzeedo's blog

Last week we started a new series of posts about famous web designers. For our first post we showed the work of Vitor Lourenco, the guy behind the new Twitter design; and for this second we will feature one of the most famous designers out there, Jason Santa Maria.

I'm sure you have seen some of his works, but we could just say that he designed the Wordpress identity and admin pages; and A List Apart, identity and web design.

Jason Santa Maria is a Graphic Designer living in sunny Brooklyn, NY. He serves as Creative Director for Happy Cog Studios, both in New York and Philadelphia. This status grants him access to most black-tie galas and groundbreaking ceremonies....

Jason enjoys loud music and subsequent ass-shaking. Jason nearly knows the value of a dollar, though could still be persuaded to purchase magic beans. Jason enjoys good and bad Horror and Sci-Fi movies, though prefers good, and can often be found losing the day to video games.....

The wallpaper of this week is a design created by Samuel Larsson, a graphic designer based in Stockholm. The image is a super cool illustration with that cartoon feel, I've been using it for a few days already and I love it. Book Suggestion: The Lean Startup
The book suggestion of this week is a must read in my opinion, it's The Lean Startup: How Today's Entrepreneurs Use Continuous Innovation to Create Radically Successful Businesses by Eric Ries. I read this book in a few days and it was one of those books that you know they will be useful and will you help you to improve in your career.
