Web Design: Minimalistic Sites

March 26, 2009 from PauloGabriel's blog

"Less is more". That's what some people say... and they might be right. Usually, minimalistic sites are really beautiful, and even with few elements, they deliver us their message, and that's just what we need.

Even though we really like checking some cool sites with lots of elements, minimalistic sites tend to be more straight to the point, what give 'em lots of points. Also, these sites look really fancy like that. Anyways, here is my selection on minimalistic sites. Hope you all like it. Cheers! ;)

Hi there, this is my first post for Abduzeedo and I'm starting with a quick video tutorial of one of Fabio's cool designs. Fabio got in touch with me and suggested that we did some work together regarding video tutorials. To get things rolling I thought it would be nice to create a video on one of my favorite tutorials

Book Suggestion: Typology - Type Design From Victorian Era to the Digital Age
The book suggestion of the week is one of my favorites, it's called Typology: Type Design From Victorian Era to the Digital Age and it covers a lot of art history always linking with types and typography. It's a must read for those starting out their careers or even willing to dust off their typology and typography skills. About the book
