Web Design: Religious Sites

Since my friend and I are developing our church's web site, I start to research tendencies for this kind of site. And my surprise is that there are really awesome sites out there about it!

From vintage style to illustration, flash elements, gradients, photographic background... there are many trends, but all of them are really well done. So check these out, it's pretty great! Cheers. ;)

Excellent collection. Designs of religious sites and non-profits have gotten much better in the past few years. I did a post a few months ago of the 50 best church websites that included some of the same ones as your list.

Excellent Post! Great to see that Christians are catching on to the latest trends in web development / standards and design, I think this is a great thing as our mission is to reach the world with the gospel and what a great way!...through the web! :o)

There is some nice design in there, just a shame its wasted on religious purposes. Stop wasting your time on an imaginary friend, and spend the time supporting Reason and Science!
