More About Alex Trochut

I'm a freelance graphic designer from Barcelona. I love type and illustration. I don't choose either as a preference, but I particular like when both are present; as a principle statement I'll say I believe in "More is More". I don't want to choose a particular style, I like expressing myself and communicating through the needs of every project, and that's something I like in design: every project is pushing you to look a new situation and adapt yourself to express it.

Hey nice,

Amazing typography

Anonymous07/23/2009

Come on. You've got pretty colors and shapes but, typography? Most of those are completely unreadable!

You could get away with calling it art but, it is terrible for conveying a message. Unless the message is that the 70's threw up on your screen.

The stripper $$$ sign is sick!

Love, love, love, Alex Trochut. He just exudes pure creativity. I wish I could peak inside his brain.

The Beautiful Decay issue he was featured on/in is pretty sweet. I really recommend checking the mag out. You won't regret it.

Madhavi Sani07/23/2009

Great collection. It is so beautiful, fantastic use of colour. Just loved it.

Ansel Taft07/23/2009

Am I the only one who thinks most of his stuff is beautiful but sometimes too hard to read? What's the point of slick typography/illustration if someone can't read it within a couple of seconds? What if it were on a bus, going by...

naevol20107/23/2009

Wonderful, I like typo

Van Damme07/23/2009

the ones by Jason Chan are soooo stunning.

Westcoasttony07/23/2009

So obvious that the influence of Milton Glaser and Pushpin Studios is still alive and well... not to mention Victor Moscoso and the 60s psych poster designers!

jose pacheco07/23/2009
