I guess we all love classic movies, right? The most worship one of those old, classic ones, is probably the Wizard of Oz, with all the speculations behind it... Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon sync and all that. It is truly a wonderful and full of meanings movie.
So, we received the suggestion by email from Sara "Batman", asking us to make a illustration post of it! So, Sara, here it is! If you got a suggestion and would like to tell us, send us an email! We'll be more than happy to analize your request. I really hope you guys enjoy my selection, and don't forget to visit the artists, alright? Cheers, good people! ;)

Such an amazing collection of work. It is so impressive to see such a variety of takes on the same subject. The modern movie poster done in orange, blue, brown and green is one of my favorite!

The Michal Syzksznian piece is my favorite and I would love to watch a film with them used as the drawn animated characters. The facial featers on all of them seems so familiar and that could be the appealing aspect of the images for me I guess. I love that the Scarecrow looks so gothic and the Tin Man so superhero.

this is amazing! i read wicked years ago, and i had loved having a fresh (adult) perspective on one of my favorite childhood stories. these pieces just add more layers to my perspective on the wizard of oz. love, love, love them!

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz was originally illustrated by W. W. (William Wallace) Denslow, a friend of Baum's.
