WTF Series by Minga

November 16, 2010 from GisMullr's blog

Last week, while browsing around looking for inspiration I bumped into the WTF series from Minga, a small creativity & design boutique based in Argentina. The series really got my attention for its creativity and simplicity. Simple posters that transmit a cool idea with great visual and sense of humor. It's something that makes us laugh and recall our own WTF moments.

I got in touch with Minga to know more about the series and the idea behind it and got a prompt reply from them. So here are the posters and further info about the WTF series. I also recommend you to check out their website and Behance page for further creative artworks, they have really nice stuff to show. :)

WTF Series is about things that happen to us while living a normal life... when you clearly don't understand why those things happened! They're usually out of the ordinary things that occur to all of us but are sometimes hard to believe. It began as an in-house joke here in the studio so we decided to make it a "Design Piece".

We wanted to create some funny, where people can laugh about WTF situations, and we create a poster series about it. Now we are working on the second part of it: "WTF Series II"

A Perfect Truth: Reverse Photoshop Processing
A Perfect Truth: Reverse Photoshop Processing
As a follow on from yesterday, this is the second of this style. I have reversed the process, to create a reverse processing style to the video. I feel this clearly shows a person for how the really appear. Stripping back all the work to reveal the face as it was, as it is. I hope you enjoy. I will be posting a tutorial video shortly. More then likely it will be a series as there will be many ares to cover. So after a certain amount of videos it will cover nearly all the processes covered in my timelapse videos.

Book Suggestion: New Skateboard Graphics
Inspiration is everywhere, I believe everyone knows that but each one of us has some preferences or things that inspire more than others, in my case it's skateboard graphics. That's why the book suggestion of this week is about Skateboard Graphics. It's called New Skateboard Graphics. If you remember we ran a giveaway of this book 3 years ago, but I was checking it out again and had to add to our book suggestion list.
