With his project Formsaachen, designer Max Widdra takes you on an illustrated walk through Aachen, leading you to his personal favorite places.
Design
Formsaachen is the visual examination of Aachen's most significant landmarks that significantly shape the cityscape. Over 70 vector illustrations were created in 16 months. These show buildings, fountains and monuments always asking the question how far one can break down their appearance to the essential basic forms and colors without missing their character.
Formsaachen was awarded the IF Design Award 2019: Communication.
