San Francisco in the 1940s

There's always an interesting part of looking at pictures from the past. Many factors come to mind about how people were dressed, how they lived in their routine and also the technology around them. This is why I was particularly intrigued by looking through the lenses of Fred Lyon and the city of San Francisco. I personally love this city with its mountain of high streets and what I enjoyed the most about this collection is that Fred has a style of Photography that is quite endearing that makes you feel part of the picture.

About Fred Lyon

Being called the "San Francisco"s Brassai", the Photographer Fred Lyon all started back in the 1940s where his work has been published in LIFE, VOGUE and beyond. Where he embraced his veteran art through news, architecture, advertising, wine and food.
