Nowerdays there are tons of skatevideos out there. Skateboard was never as huge as now. And with all the good skaters out there who make awesome tricks you have to come with something new to impress the viewer. Lakai's Fully Flared movie is considered in the media to be the most innovative this year.

One of my most vivid childhood memories is about collection those awesome Garbage Pail Kids cards. The art was pretty funny, even though it was gross most of the time. It's always nice to remember those times. Here in Brazil, it was called "Gang do Lixo" meaning "Garbage Gang"... and it was amazingly found in lots of countries back then.
To come away from the digital arts, we won't forget the artists who actually draw artworks. It's much more difficult but you can also make world manipulations.

Our last Wallpaper of the Week was an image I had created using Pixelmator, and I really liked the outcome. The best part about it was that it was pretty easy to accomplish in Pixelmator, but I decided for perspective's sake to create the same effect in Photoshop.
The T-Mobile G1 debuted today and the blogosphere is buzzing with reviews. The biggest reason is that it's the first phone to use the Google Android software. Could this phone really be competition for the iPhone? From what I've read so far, I don't think so. I myself don't have an iPhone (yet), I do however use T-Mobile and I'd rather get a hacked iPhone before getting the G1.
