Andrew Hawryluk shared the motion design work done for SHOWTIME is an anime short film set in a dystopian cyberpunk setting and an original IP created by Maciej Kuciara. It is a stylistic homage to some of the most iconic Japanese anime of the 1990's. I had the pleasure of designing and animating various motion graphic elements throughout the short, including a digital elevator display, a robotic user interface, and the final title card. It was a unique challenge evoking the look and feel of a hand-painted aesthetic, while remaining true to the stylistic sensibilities of 90’s anime.
