I would like to share the work from Axel Corjon, a creative director by day and a wanderer by night. You must recognize some of his design projects like jetlag.photos or fontface.ninja/. We are featuring his Alone in the Night Photography Series where it's a series of photos taken at night. I do agree with Axel that there is indeed something special about exploring places at night. Everything is different especially the atmosphere where utterly comes your creativity to see things differently. Make sure to follow Axel's work on Instagram.
I love shooting late at night. It's always a special moment, it's off time. People are mostly sleeping, making the night hours somehow unreal. people are making these hours vanish, I embrace them. It's also very disturbing discovering streets at nights. The light and colors are always changing due to artificial lights sources (cars, reflection, traffic lights, etc...) and make even the most known places look different. Also, you cannot see very far, therefore you create this scary feeling where you never know what's near you. it triggers something primal that force you to be more aware of your surroundings.
