Blotter Atelier is a textile design duo inhabited by a passion that federates creative people and production workshops around a common goal: to create exclusive and innovative clothes. Their collections arise from artistic collaborations, combining tradition, experimentation and independence.
Blotter invited Nouvelle étiquette to design their visual identity, as well as their website/webstore. Nouvelle étiquette decided to build their new visual DNA leaning on Chercán, a typeface designed by Francisco Galvez for Pampatype. Just like the Blotter collections this type family reflects both great expressiveness and timeless elegance tinged with originality. Its inverted contrast, its singular personality and its comfort of reading immediately pleased Mathilde & Benjamin.
Using the typeface, they built a sober identity that will be able to adapt and to be declined according to every collection, image and clothing created by the brand.
