Maumstudio's Brilliant Branding for CHO SHOP

Maumstudio, renowned for its minimalist designs tinged with wit, recently undertook an exemplary branding and visual identity project for the CHOSHOP space. The occasion? Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International's Korea branch. CHO SHOP, drawing its name from the English rendition of the Korean pronunciation for 'CANDLE', showcases products that represent the core values of Amnesty International: pride, inclusion, courage, solidarity, equality, and love. 

The creative genius behind this branding initiative, Dalwoo Lee, led the direction with impeccable style. The graphic design, masterfully executed by Yoonji Lee, Jeawon Chung, and Hyunjin Lee, captures the essence of Amnesty's 50-year journey in Korea, seamlessly blending minimalism and humor. Their designs don’t just stop at graphics; Eunhye Oh, leading the space and product design, collaborated with Youngbak Jeong, Hanwool Kim, and Kyoungjin Kim to bring to life candlesticks and candles, symbols of Amnesty's ever-burning spirit.

Motion work, skillfully handled by Hyunjin Lee, added a dynamic layer to the branding initiative, while Dongyi Jung expertly managed the project, ensuring a smooth journey from conception to execution. A special nod to Juyeon Lee, whose photography encapsulated the true essence of the project, providing the perfect visual representation of the CHOSHOP brand.
