This weekend I started working on a simple prototype for the Abduzeedo Android App and will likely be able to share something with you next week. Meanwhile, I would like to share a reference that proved useful as I set out to design my app, it's the mobile app concept for the Nike+ app by Maximin Erionov. Some of the elements that I like in his concept include the article screens, some full bleed screens like the one with David Beckham and the News page.
I'm a Brazilian product designer based in Oakland, California currently working for Google as a Staff Designer. I am also the founder of Abduzeedo, an award-winning digital publication about design and a personal project that has become the source of inspiration for millions of designers and enthusiasts.
Another amazing project by Rally Interactive for National Geographic. This time they designed a City Guides app that gives insights and advices for travelers. The app has an amazing user interface and brings the passion for traveling to the smartphone era.
I love to see more and more beautiful apps for tablets, iPads and others that feature beautiful editorial design. It seems that we are getting to a point that beautiful content for our mobile devices will be a norm.
