This weekend I started working on a simple prototype for the Abduzeedo Android App and will likely be able to share something with you next week. Meanwhile, I would like to share a reference that proved useful as I set out to design my app, it's the mobile app concept for the Nike+ app by Maximin Erionov. Some of the elements that I like in his concept include the article screens, some full bleed screens like the one with David Beckham and the News page.
Abduzeedo is a collective of individual writers sharing articles about architecture, design, photography, and UX. It was founded in 2006 as a personal blog, later growing to become a digital publication with several writers from all over the world, working independently.
I know you might say that flat design is the new trend and that skeumorphism is past, however the talent behind the work is never over. It is important to understand the context to judge the design. For this post I would like to feature these two amazing icons created by CreativeDash Design Studio based in San Francisco, California.
We are featuring the UI/UX work from Jakub Antalík, a product designer currently based in Zurich, Switzerland. From the design, ux and interaction, Jakub does make his work so practical, useful and more about making things pretty.

We live in this transitional phase where wearable devices are becoming reality. From simple devices tracking your health stats to smartwatches and Google Glass. There is a lot to learn as in any new media and the best way to do so is by trying, exploring and experimenting. We live in a moment that ideation is more important than iteration, we need to try new things until we find the right way. With that in mind today we feature a super cool Google Glass concept app for Facebook created by Leonardo Zem.
Leonard is a UX, Interaction Designer and Product Designer from Brazil.
