In this tutorial I will show you how to create a really cool effect. First, we will use basic filters to create a 3D text effect; then, we will blend some stock photos and textures to produce one hell of a wallpaper. Step 1

The wallpaper of this week is an amazing image created by Erik Schumacher, a German student currently studying Physics at the university of Dortmund, specialised in the fields of photomanipulation and space art, but always trying to broaden his skills into other areas such as matte painting and digital painting. It was founded in 1994 by James Verdesoto & Vivek Mathur and specializes in the creation of print campaigns for Feature Films, Network Television, Cable as well as Home Entertainment clients. They have won over 15 of The Hollywood Reporter's Key Art Awards and created artwork for more than 400 campaigns

I had seen these on the web a few times, but never really got to find the artist behind it. These are some awesome montages of superheroes and villains placed in historical moments, like the World War II. It's pretty amazing how realistic these are. That shows us how good Agan Harahap is.
