Donut Doubles is an awesome project that matches people faces to different donuts. There's also a really cool tutorial for 3d paralax effect that was used to create this project. Enjoy! It's that time of year again where we get to work with one of our favorite agencies, The Marlin Network, to put together a fun teaser/invite for their event at the National Restaurant Association's annual food show. It's been a blast in years past, doing Breakfast Interrupted and Breakfast Burlesque (both below). This year, we teamed up with Strange Donuts and shot portraits as Donut Doubles. Below are the images along with a motion piece we did. Can't wait for next year! There's also a little video with some motion graphics and parallax action with the photos and a tutorial of how it was done.
Alberto Seveso never ceases to impress us. I remember back in 2005/2006 when he shocked everyone with his style called “sperm shaping.” We featured an interview with him almost 4 years go here on Abduzeedo where he talks a little bit more about that. After that he became a super recognize illustrator and designer with worked feature in popular magazines and in the Adobe Photoshop CS6 launch. Today we feature some of his new work, still incredible and unique. Alberto's passion for graphic arts started in the 90s, he was really fascinated from the graphic of skate decks and the cover of music CD of metal bands. From that passion her started to think about how reproduce that kind of artwork. Photoshop is a way to free your imagination and here you can take a look inside the mind of Martin Grohs. Each piece has it's own world of creativity and execution into something real within your eyes. Enjoy! In 2007 I've started with the digital retouching. At the beginning I have corrected merely a pair of faults. But with the time I found more and more enthusiasm to work and to change more. With the time I have more and more intensively dealt with the manipulation and have learned to love it. So I have slipped to this area. But meanwhile I leave it no longer only at simple picture manipulations, but I always try to visualize and to create more interesting, unique and re-recognizable ideas. Here one small insight into my thoughts and their putting into action. I hope you like them... For more from Martin Grohs visit martin-grohs.com and behance.net/grohsARTig.

Fantasy enthusiasts really love the idea of exploring new worlds. It might be right here on Earth, a land where no man has been to yet... or it might be in another galaxy, something like the landscapes from Prometheus. Worlds like that can be easily reached through the work of Polish artist Karezoid Michal Karcz. He's got a really creative mind when it comes to imagining other worlds, and his methods are amazing. Some of these you might even think that actually exist! For more of Karezoid's artworks, please visit his portfolio at 500px. He'll definitely appreciate it! Cheers. ;)
