Extrica, which was founded in 1999, is the leading publisher of scientific journals in Northern Eastern Europe, focusing particularly on engineering science. In addition to engineering, the company also publishes journals in the fields of medicine, physics, and science. In addition to its publishing activities, the company also hosts international conferences that draw speakers from over 30 countries around the globe.
Client needs
Extrica's aim was to help scientists focus on the content and quality of their research, rather than worrying about grammatical issues or other minor constraints when submitting papers.
Design value
Previously known as JVE Journals, the company is now called Extrica. The name was chosen because it reflects the company's goal of finding scientific solutions and simplifying the publication process. The letter X, which is prominent in the company's new name, is meant to be dynamic and expressive, while also allowing the focus to remain on the content of the company's work. The change to Extrica represents a fresh start and a new approach, with a focus on innovation and simplicity.
