From Pom Pom’s office in Stockholm, Thomas Pomarelle and Simon Appel meditated around the concept of light during the lockdo
João Teixeira shared another beautiful industrial design project fully rendered in 3D using Blender. Minimal yet sophisticated, and slim were some of the keywords while designing the Loop desk. The name derives from the way the monitor stand is designed, looping all around the table top in a seamless way.
This design was motivated by the way most people have been working from home due to lockdowns, enhancing the workspace and making it more friendly and productive.
Besides being a common solution, the table top acts as a second working space and helps boost productivity allowing for better storage and use of space. The Loop desk also has a front single drawer to keep your gadgets hidden and a back access to hide all your cable management without the need for an accessory for it.
The rounded edges applied throughout the desks components or the way they assemble each other are a natural contrast between the traditional look of wood and the modern looks you can get by using this natural material.
