It's been such a long time since the last post about watercolor illustrations. I am a huge fan of this style and technique going so far as trying to recreate this type of illustration in Photoshop, but nothing beats the real deal, at least till now. It looks like the iPad Pro might have the tech to accomplish that digitally, so let's wait and see, but meanwhile check out the amazing work of Amandine Comte. I'm a Brazilian product designer based in Oakland, California currently working for Google as a Staff Designer. I am also the founder of Abduzeedo, an award-winning digital publication about design and a personal project that has become the source of inspiration for millions of designers and enthusiasts.
Currently offline over some side-projects that involves iOS, game design and as being part of the process. I am surfing what's out there for inspiration and it's always a pleasure to come across the work of Creative Mints. Their level of combination of illustration and UI just goes higher than what you are usually seeing. It's quite inspiring and we can't take away the joy of embracing the Behind-the-Scenes with sketches and sharing their process.
Our good friend Peter Tarka never ceased to impress us here on Abduzeedo, with his inspirational concepts filled with colours, digital CGI goodness and the combination of different elements that could literally go from a little plant to a full-size statue for results to be quite lovely.
It's amazing to see a super talented artist's portfolio and to come to the conclusion that there's a bright future ahead for him/her. Pablo Carpio, a Spanish concept artist, comes up with dazzling artworks worth seeing. Pablo has a fantastic set filled with eye-candy pieces of concept art and fan art, all of them pretty awesome. For more of his work, please visit his portfolio at ArtStation! I hope you enjoy these! Cheers! ;)
