Geometric Interpretations of Iconic Andy Warhol Artwork

John Battalgazi recently saw the Andy Warhol Diaries documentary and it inspired him to take a closer look at some of his iconic imagery. The interpretations attempt to combine geometry, abstract color balance and texture to create a harmonious aesthetic. But that’s just a long winded way of describing what are essentially just fun doodles.

Below are a few designs based on the subjects that inspired Andy Warhol during his most prolific period. Beautiful actresses and famous consumer brands. A winning formula.
