Pixel art had an influence on everyone that played video-games in the 80s and 90s. A generation that grew up seeing beautiful games all done with this style that would become cult in the future.
We are featuring the work from Gustavo Viselner who is an illustrator based in Tel Aviv, Israel. He is also a talented Pixel Artist with a brilliant idea to introduce this beautiful form of an accidental art from the 80s to today's favourite TV Shows. Imagine reliving some of the best TV moments from the two decades in a Pixel form, enhance that 8-bit to the masses. You will recognize memorable TV shows like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Stranger Things and a lot more. Please enjoy!
Pixel-Art is an art formed by lack, emerging back in the happy 8-bit days of the 80's. It is a foundation stone of video gamer's folklore. For me, pixel art is no longer just a graphic tool for games, but a form of art that can stand out without having a video game to support it. Having said that, I would love to take Saul Goodman to an exciting pixelated adventure. For now translating these fantasies into illustrated scenes is all I can do, and it's delightful.
