Fun Meetings Backgrounds Project

In this period when people need to take care of one another's health, staying at home, virtual contact by videoconference has been a frequent solution. Work meetings, birthday parties and happy hours take place with the cameras on. It's been more than 3 months, at least for me that I have been in isolation with my family. It's not easy, but we all adapt and get used to it. There's also our tendency of being positive and create fun things to take advantage of the adversity. Look at this campaign that folks from Ford Brazil did, it's so simple, silly I'd say, but awesome!

Funny Hollywood Stars Caricatures

Who doesn't love a good caricature? We've posted about this entertaining artistic approach before and are excited to share the latest work of the talented Spaniard, Alex Gallego. MAD Artist Publishing recently published a book dedicated to Gallego's caricature works and we felt no time better than the present to feature some of our favorites here. We love seeing the exaggerated portrayal of a few iconic Hollywood faces we all know and love.

Incredibly Funny Ashamed Dogs

Entire tumblr blogs are being dedicated for cute animals. That's a niche that animal lovers consume like crazy, and some of these blogs are legitimately funny, like Dog-Shaming, which shows us a bunch of cute, ashamed dogs.

50 Incredibly Cute Baby Animal Pictures around the World

The word "animal" comes from the Latin word animalis, meaning "having breath". We all love animals so much, especially cats and dogs. However, there are many cute animals out there we love to see as well. The enjoyment that we get from pictures of animals and nature is immeasurable.

Funny Freakish Manbabies

It's time for some Friday fun! Yeah, I know what you thinking: this is completely retarded. And yes, it is, but I actually find these pretty darn funny! Besides, we get to see some Photoshop skills here and there. It actually gets funnier if you pay more attention to the men heads in babies bodies and imagine them as real living people. I hope you all enjoy these as much as I did, and if you got yourself a picture of you and a kid, try it and send it over to us, we would love to laugh at you. I mean, with you.

Homer Simpson Collection

Think about beloved characters. If Homer Simpson hasn't crossed your mind, then I say that there's something deeply wrong with you. Nah, just kidding... but Homer is indeed one of the most beloved characters ever. The whole world just loves his sillyness.

Introducing Tebe Interesno - Creative Blog

We all love blogs. Especially me, I could spend hours scrolling up and down through blogs. And the best one's keep you smiling (or thinking) with every article, picture or video you see. I can't say much about this blog because it's russian. But as far as I imagine what the letter say it's a graphic designer who designes those images himself.

Awful Photoshop Disasters

I laughed really hard yesterday when I payed a visit to Photoshopdisasters. There's a ton of awful, awful mistakes, errors and stuff that you cannot believe. When one checks these, it's unbelievable how all of these were printed or used somehow. I just know that these never passed through any kind of review or checking. And the best thing about these, is that PD.com also includes a title for each image, what enhances the comedy... enhances so much I cried yesterday.

Funny Stylish Web Comics by Bob Rz

I've been a fan of indie comics for some time now, and there are some that are pretty funny, but I find truly fantastic when an artist manages to make a funny and stylish comic. Tucker Rzepecki, also known as Bob Rz, is one of those guys. Based in Washington, Bob Rz was really inspired by Calvin's creator, Bill Watterson. Yesterday, during a little chat with Bob, he said, and I quote:

Video of the Week #21

Some design trends are a big mystery for us. When the subject is movie poster, there are some things that tend to repeat from time to time. We even had a post about hand drawn movie posters some time ago. What about that weird trend of flying heads? You don't know what I'm talking about? Then you should probably pay more attention to action movies. Here's a little list of movies that got posters with flying heads.

Awesome Clever Advertising

One of the biggest challenges when advertising a product, is to come up with an idea that is not obvious, but still is clever enough to deliver the message your client wants. When you do that and still manage to be funny, you hit the jackpot. Here are some examples of clever advertising and how a simple idea might be just the right one to go with. Remember, complex might not be best way, so stick to simple ideas... most times less is more! Found these on Flickr. Enjoy!

Video of the Week #18

This week, a friend of mine linked me a video that brought back some bad memories. Every designer knows how difficult is to deal with picky clients, who don't know what they want... instead of keeping all things simple, they want a logo here, a sign there, a title on the top. This video portraits perfectly the struggle between client and designer, how we get to do most things they want... I said most things, not all things. I'm still willing to pick the jobs I want, not everyone that comes to me. Anyways, enjoy (if you can)! ;D

Amazing 3D Chalk Art

I've already seen some of these sometimes before, and it's really amazing who these dudes manage to make such realistic 3D paintings, messing with nothing but our perception. And I just wonder whether or not this is just a hobbie for them, or is it their actual income source. Anyways, Julian Beever and Kurt Wenner are trully talented artists. Julian Beever

Rubik's Cube Inspiration

Everyone has experienced at least once the frustration of not solving a Rubik's Cube. And that's like a BIG frustration, at least for me. And one thing I've never seen before was ads for the Cube, I mean, did anyone ever seen any before? Well, I've just crossed to 3 of these at Adgoodness, and decided to put up some inspiration for you guys. Here are also some really incredible video of a dude solving the friggin' cube in 9 seconds.

Awesome LEGOd Video Games

Yesterday we found about this 16 years old kid who made nice pics of old games in the real world, and it was quite funny. Today, following a potential series of game related posts, some cool pictures of "Legod Video Games". Ronn (or skinny coder), a dude from LA came up with the idea of building old games scenes with Lego, and the result is really something. Check these out! And we've also found a Flickr pool full of these... Hope you all like it. Cheers! :)
