We would like to share the another announcement from the great folks over Invision and this time is about their latest feature on Craft.
As of late we’ve been witnessing a lot of really cool and interesting upgrades from our friends from Invision. They never ceased to come up with new tools and upgrades to facilitate our workflow for the greater good and also work with existing platforms to bring their products around our work environment so we can have to the right tools to create the right user experience.
We would like to share the announcement of Invision partnering with UserTesting to bring the another level at prototyping with actual user reactions for your app, website or prototype. It’s something that I have always wanted to bring to my process, it’s super crucial to know how your users engage with your products. Especially when you are in product design and you are working in design sprints and figure out goals to bring the best for your user experience every single update.
This week, our friends over at Invision are offering a free UI kit called: Relate for us to play around and mostly create prototypes and experiments. Offered in Sketch and Photoshop files, you can't really go wrong with this kit. I am seeing a great opportunity to dig it out and basically try a few things with the main features and experiment with what's currently out there in the industry in terms of interactions.
In the latest installation of Craft from Invision LABS, they are again pushing the envelope by supercharging Craft’s capabilities by bringing designers Data. A free plugin that pulls text, photos, and JSON values from public API sites live into Sketch. Let's give it a look and make sure to watch it in action. I am really being a fan of what Craft by Invision LABS is bringing to the game that can really help designers boost up their productivity and efficiency into their work.
The great lads from Invision has been taking the industry today by sharing their first Product Design Trends Report where they collected insights from over 1,650 creatives worldwide. The respondants provided their thoughts about their education, career path, roles, compensation ranges, tool preferences, income variables, purchasing habits and more. It's really an interesting document to dive into and we just can't help to be amazed by all the numbers.
It's COMING! The kind folks over Invision will be releasing their anticipated Documentary called: DESIGN DISRUPTORS on August 1. A solid documentary where we get to enter the World of 15+ companies and learn about their way of transformative power of design. Former Design Lead at Mailchimp Aarron Walter just joined the reigns of Invision as their VP of Design Education. What does that mean? According to Aarron, joining Invision will fulfill his passion for design by helping companies to put design best practices at the center of their strategy.
Just a little while (past week), we've announced Craft-Styles by Invision LABS and today Invision announced that they acquired Silver Flows to bring prototyping live in Sketch. This is the future right here, both a passionate user of Sketch and Invision, allowing designers to prototype and see their designs live (real-time mirroring) on your devices for a better user experience.
Invision LABS has just released Craft-Styles, a tool (only available on Sketch) where you can create stunning, comprehensive style guide with just a few clicks. Craft has been a game changer in their recent release to a sustain increase of productivity among us designers. This is what I really do enjoy about this community, creating better tools together.
