Our friends from Unsplash are making some noise with the launch of Unsplash for iOS. The idea is quite simple, bringing awesome images into your iOS applications faster and quite easily. Starting the launch on the iPad and iPhone (Hopefully Android will come soon!), the app is quite playful and quite enjoyable.
The wallpaper of this week is a photo I took while driving up north on Pacific Highway 1, one of the most beautiful drives in my humble opinion. The cliffs and the ocean combined with a beautiful winter blue sky will always offer great photo opportunities. It's hard to describe the feeling of 'driving up the 1' through photos. For me, there's nothing like the cold breeze of the ocean and the sound of the water hitting the rocks on deserted beaches, no houses just you and nature.

I love to see more and more beautiful apps for tablets, iPads and others that feature beautiful editorial design. It seems that we are getting to a point that beautiful content for our mobile devices will be a norm. Similar to magazines but with a big difference, the content is much more interactive and rich in terms of multimedia. I think the future is bright for all of us readers, content creators and designers. Verso is a great example of editorial design for digital magazines.
